Why is there a free tier at all?
The public data (grade, score, entry fee, confidence tag) is useful on its own. Transparency about award legitimacy should be accessible. Paid plans are for people who need the full picture before committing budget and reputation.
What is the founding rate?
Both tiers have founding rates. Honor Roll is $199/year (~$16/month) and Dean's List is $199/month for up to 5 seats, both locked for life, no price increases, ever. Once we close founding, Honor Roll goes to $299/year and Dean's List to $299/month.
Who is Dean's List for?
PR firms, communications consultants, and agencies that advise clients on award strategy. It's the discovery-and-tools tier: integrated power-search, bulk comparison, client-ready exports, and team seats. Dean's List adds no extra editorial score depth over Honor Roll; that's already fully unlocked there.
What's the People's Grade?
A separate, entrant-sourced letter grade alongside AwardGrade's editorial grade; anyone who entered an award can submit one and leave a comment. The People's Grade letter is always free and public. Reading what entrants actually wrote is Honor Roll; replying to a comment is Dean's List.
How do grades stay current?
AwardGrade monitors for fee changes, judging updates, and new disclosures. When facts change, grades are recomputed and the profile changelog is updated. Paid members get change alerts.
Can award organizers pay for a better grade?
