About AwardGrade
AwardGrade exists because the business award market is opaque. Entry fees run from $0 to $2,000+. Winner rates run from 2% to “everyone who applies.” Some awards with household names have failed basic vetting tests. Some low-profile awards run a tighter process than anything you've heard of.
Founders, professionals, and the agencies that represent them make real decisions based on award credibility. They spend money to enter. They attach their names and their clients' names to the result. AwardGrade gives them the information to make that call with evidence instead of assumption.
Every grade is produced mechanically from documented public evidence under a published rubric. The methodology is public, versioned, and built to be applied consistently by any two researchers who read it. No general impressions. No vibes. Points in, grade out.
Built with real business experience
AwardGrade was founded by an experienced business and legal professional who has spent years on both sides of credibility. That background includes:
- ✓Attorney by training, with a focus on legal-risk analysis
- ✓Senior legal and operating leadership roles
- ✓Responsibility for large teams and organizations
- ✓Oversight of nine-figure business transactions
- ✓Evaluating contracts, vendors, claims, and organizational risk
- ✓Building and advising growing businesses
- ✓Creating operational systems that require clear standards, documented processes, and accountability
That experience shapes how AwardGrade evaluates recognition programs. We do not grade an award based on how impressive its name sounds. We look for evidence: the published rules, fees, judging structure, selection process, past winners, geographic reach, and the available public record.
The founder remains intentionally private. AwardGrade is not a personality-driven platform, and the founder's identity is not used to sell influence, secure favorable treatment, or promote personal services. The credibility is meant to come from the quality of the research, the consistency of the standards, and the transparency of the methodology.
This is not a vanity project, a pay-to-play directory, or a site built to sell better grades. It is an independent effort to help people answer one practical question before they spend their time, money, or credibility:
Independence policy
AwardGrade accepts no payment of any kind from award organizers: no paid placements, premium profiles, badge licensing, verification fees, or advertising from graded entities. Revenue comes exclusively from the entrants, professionals, and agencies who use the database. Any organizer offer of payment is declined and may be noted on the award's profile.
Organizers can submit factual corrections (fee changes, judging updates, new disclosures) with documentation at any time. Corrections that check out are applied and the profile changelog is updated. Organizers may not appeal a grade; grades follow mechanically from verified facts under the published methodology.
Questions or corrections: use the tip form below. For legal or press inquiries, the contact is the same: we just read it.
